As clients embarked on the Petrocall Project, their vision was to construct a state-of-the-art petrol station, and they were in search of a construction company that could not only meet but exceed their expectations.

Given the clients extensive knowledge of the industry, they were hands-on in defining their requirements and objectives for the project. The selected construction partner needed to demonstrate versatility in skills and a deep understanding of the intricacies associated with petrol station construction.

Their specific focus was on the seamless creation of catchment areas for water and oil beneath the ground, coupled with the installation of linear reservoirs. This intricate balance between functionality and precision was paramount to the success of the Petrocall Project.

As our inaugural venture into the industrial realm, the Petrocall Project presented Sherwood Construction with a unique set of challenges and opportunities. The client’s ambitious vision not only set high expectations but also inspired us to surpass conventional standards. Our initial approach involved a comprehensive visual walkthrough of the entire space, meticulously assessing the architectural grounds.

Subsequently, our engineering department delved into the intricacies of hydrocarbon processes, developing detailed process flow diagrams and attentively issuing material safety datasheets.

The preliminary phase unfolded with the excavation of the site and strategic clearance of rubble where necessary. This provided the essential groundwork for cable work,
plumbing installations, and vent pipes. The project also demanded a laborious application of fire protection measures to ensure safety compliance. Over the course of four months, we navigated through these complexities, culminating in the successful realization of the Petrocall Project
